Propulsion block is when down candle is going in previous down candle (OB). When we have OB the next higher down candle coming in the OB is the Propulsion block. It should keep price at bay and not going below the M.T.
If price is really going for the Buyside, it should not go below the M.T. If it does, it will probably go down to the Volume Imbalance.
These are the signatures you are looking for, to confirm or negate any idea you have for a trade or managing position.
Source of confusion and frustration, is not knowing which PD arrays to be more flexible with. One of those is the Volume Imbalance. We allow price to move back and forth and then come back again and use it as S/R level. With the FVG we are more strict and we expect them to do certain things. If they get traded trough and price comes back to use them as S/R then they are reclaimed.
Whenever a FED member is speaking, their words are going to be used as a smoke screen for price to do what is doing. But we are led to believe that price is just reacting from those announcements.
When price has a lot of VI’s like right now, its spotty and its really hard to get a good read, of where tis going. Normally you are expect price to go PD array, react and go higher/lower. But right now it is going back and forth because its referring to all of these PD arrays around us. This makes framing a trade setup much harder bc where would you put your SL? Since we have multiple PD arrays it can bang around until it finally decides and reacts on 1 of them and moves to where it should move. Spotty means multiple VI’s. When there are too many of those pores in price, it tends to spend more time in there to balance them. And the way you balance them, is when you reprice and leave it, go back into it, get rejected and move away.
